This week we celebrated Earth hour. 1/2E did not use electricity all day. We had our lights off, no Smartboard, no computers and air conditioning. The students were encouraged to bring nude food (no wrappers) and we tried to think of ways we can help to look after the planet. We planted vegetables in the garden and were going to restart the worm farm. There were some spiders there so we will try again another time!! There has been a koala walk past our classroom this week and perhaps they visited the Nicholii as there were new scats under the tree and on the path. There must also be a possum in the big gum outside our classroom.  I hope they don’t eat our new vegetables!
