Koalas at Soldiers Point P.S.

A special koala experience

Today it was the first day of the Great Koala Count. In the morning Mason, India, Jackson and Harley went to see if Coco or BK was in the main habitat tree. They could not see her but Mrs Egan saw her earlier in the morning. She has darker shoulders so it looked like Coco.

After recess we went to the favourite tree and Mrs Egan used her phone to record a koala sighting on the Bio App. We took a photo and added it too. We walked around the far corner of the school and back to the front but we did not see any more. They could be in the deep part of the bush but can be tricky to find. The boy from yesterday was nowhere to be seen.
